On Thursday, families of victims of the September 11th 2001 attacks won a default judgment against Iran, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Lebanon-based Hezbollah. According to the lawsuit, people in Iran — including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei- provided support to the terrorists who went on to attack civilians on US soil. But analysts say it’s nothing but a cover-up, with Iran as a convenient fall guy. Iran wants a deal. It’s very clear to anyone who has actually been paying attention to their moves.
BUT they don’t want to be the ones to ask for it. They want the US to offer one. They know they will lose most of their demands, but they are hoping to get something out of it.
A win-win solution would be the US pays Iran to allow us to build that oil pipeline, because that’s really what this is about is OIL! It’s all about the pipeline. We should just be honest.
