it did have a self activation . the Iranians were able not only to hack the drone and bring it down but also to hack the operating control room of the drone , when the Iranians brought the drone down .. hackers were able to send fake images and msgs to the control room that the drone was on the right course, once it was with the Iranian hands they were fast enough deactivate the self destruction device .. very intelligent and smart ppl
