The game was designed by Howard Scott Warshaw. It was the first ever movie licensed video game. The player controls Indiana Jones as he searches for the lost Ark of the Covenant. The game requires the player to use two different controllers: controller 2 moves Jones and its button uses an item; controller 1 selects the item to use and its button drops the item. This control scheme anticipated later game controllers with more buttons and games where buttons would allow the player to switch items without interrupting gameplay. Thank you so much for watching! I actually completed this game when I was about eight. It was very frustrating and the whole process was riddled with trial & error. I held a video game night a little more than a year ago and someone wanted to play this game. We made it much farther than you did, but I had forgotten quite a bit and the frustration began again.

I could never figure out this game either when I was younger….I kept trying but never got very far
Cool, yea.. after I uploaded this I saw the “How to win” version of this game and saw how cool it looked. It is easier to jump into other games than this one, though now that I have a guide I may try to beat it one day
This game gave me fits for months until I figured it all out with a little help from my friends! Once you know where you are supposed to go and what youre supposed to do when, it actually is kinda fun. But until that point it is total frustration! I remember throwing the game cart and the controllers more than once! Sadly even though this is still one of the games in my collection, I havent played it in many years. Its just so much easier to jump into a game of asteroids or space invaders.
