Kermit the Frog and director James Bobins talk at a press conference in London for The Muppets after the film’s UK premiere. The film marks a triumphant return to the big screen for Jim Henson’s beloved puppet creations. Kermit offers his opinion in the debate about the merits of practical effects as opposed to fancy new CGI technologies. He takes a well-placed dig at rival Disney superstar Woody from Toy Story. In their latest adventure the Muppets find their beloved Muppet Theatre at risk from greedy oil tycoon Tex Richman. With a little help from some new friends, they have no choice but to stage a spectacular comeback show to raise the money in time to save their home. The film stars everyone’s favourite characters including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo and Fozzie Bear. The film also introduces the newest Muppet Walter and a host of human stars. Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Jack Black, Rashida Jones and Chris Cooper all join the fun. Check out our other videos for full press conference coverage and more Muppets magic.
