Ruthless determination and an almost suicidal amphibious assault is required, but the young consul is uncomfortably aware that the price of victory may be much higher than the senate realises. Coming MMXIII.

larger than rome 1
i hope the game map will be like Rome 1!
I will enjoy fulfilling what Hannibal was prevented to fulfill, at least in a magnificent simulation like this…
Using a ballista in first person view = awesome lvl 1
Zoom into a legion unit in first person view = awesome lvl 2
Customizable banners = awesome lvl 10
watching this nearly 50 times during the days. just can’t wait
(
That’s so weird. My friend was just saying something about wishing that Shogun 2 had a mod for amphibious assaults.
i cant wait for it they say that u will be bale to have ships and infantry in the same battle cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both good choices imo
They’ve stated it will not take much more than shogun if any more at all.
I have waited half my life for the next Rome game! I totally agree!
Other explorations can wait. I suggest Han Dynasty or the Byzantine Empire?!
hope my pc can run it
Please, don’t use spec more than Shogun
I have been waiting for this game, for years… I just hope they still have the brilliant strategy aspect that they had in the first and which they seemed to have missed in Empire and the likes…
DLC in a nutshell.
I figured they would include Korea or atleast a mongol invasion dlc (Like the original.)
A feature in the original rome they got rid of in the newer games.
You could click on a city bringing up its information panel and click a button that let you enter the citys battle map and just look around the map. (With abunch of civillians walking around.)
As far as I know from my research. (And I have done none.)
The cinematics are game engine rendered.
Yes. Rome total war.
The most popular total war game.
Lets forget about that and just make a medieval 3.
SCIPIO away
Yep. Scipio Amelianus. That family had a long lineage of battling Carthage!
i find it interesting that the general who defeated Hannibal Barca in the second Punic war was Cornelius Scipio Africanus, and the Scipio they mention here was his adopted son.
No, a vast majority of it is cinematics.
Like times 1 billion!
ROME 2 total war: crash tod destop edition. How far will you go to get the game working?
China, India&the Nomadic tribes north to China are all good topics to integrate. China has many dynasties, and they don’t just use massive peasants for fighting, and the vast area& minor races mean a variety of troops and navy(river VS sea). India never got united, and their races are even more complicated, so it would also be fun. Same with nomadic tribes, but this one is difficult since you can’t never defeat nomadic tribes by conquering cities, in pre-modern times it would be impossible.
One thing that I hope CA will do is to accurately recreate, at least, the major cities of the time, such as Rome, Carthage, Alexandria or Athens, as opposed to generic cities in the campaign map. That would be awesome.
Or they could you know expand Shogun to include those east Asian countries rather than making a whole new separate game.
